Harry Workman founded Cotteswold Dairy in 1938 and it remains an independent business, now run by the third generation of the Workman family. They pride themselves by working closely with the 47 farmers that supply them with milk, and these are all located within a 50 mile radius of their main site in Tewkesbury. A range of milk, cream and more recently cultured products are processed at the dairy. They also deliver a range of other quality goods including bread, cheese, butter, yogurts and non-dairy products. They offer a flexible service to a wide range of customers, including wholesale suppliers, retailers, hotels, restaurants, coffee shops and direct to the doorstep of homes and offices.
The business has grown by adhering to values of real service to the customer and top quality products, and this has been reflected in the number of awards they have won – not only as a business but also for the goods that they produce.
